Nothing is impossible!

Yeah right! Whoever said this was wrong wrong WRONG!

Here, in my opinion, are some things which are absolutely impossible to accomplish! For me, atleast.

- Using the public transport i.e the local bus to commute in Bangalore, for more than two consecutive days. Whoever disagrees has not travelled from Koramangala to any place after 6 p.m. Holy crap!

- Commuting in Bangalore without losing your mind!

- Sit through an entire day in class without falling asleep. (College reopening soon. *Sigh*)

- Bringing the spirits of Bangaloreans down, blast or no blast!

- Going an entire day without bitching. Impossible.

- Sitting at home, doing nothing, for more than two consecutive days.

- Watch The Dark Knight, and not like it!

- To like hip-hop, and trance. The two genres do not count as music. Period.

- To make plans more than 2 days in advance for anything!

- Spend a day without gossiping. (Spoken like a true woman, eh?)

Yeah, now I'm going to think of an appropriate soundtrack for my mission-impossible.

Brother from another....err no the same mother!

You know what's more annoying than terrorists and terrorism!?

Its pesky, little brothers!

When they're younger, they're all baby and adorable, you cant get enough of their ickle cuteness like so.

But then, they get bigger and ugly and intolerable. And did I mention stronger. Grrrrr! Its unfair. Being the older sister, you retain the same level of strength you always did. But these irritating jackasses eat and eat and get bigger by the minute. No kidding! Like so:

and so

Somethings just don't get better when they get old.
You know what I don't get. Terrorism. And it gets me so mad. Arrrrgh!!!

People are so possessed. Half the time they don't know what they're fighting for. Take for example today. 6 blasts in the city. And all were low intensity. Intention - to cause fear! Fear!! Don't get me wrong. Its a good thing they were all low intensity, but why even the need to create the fear in the first place. Sheesh. Sheer joblessness, I tell you.

And come on, the Hindu Muslim issue has seriously gotten really old. Last month I was in Kashmir, which was the center for the whole Hindu-Muslim riots a couple of years back. But now there's complete peace there. No issue at all. And then, last week someone in Bangalore went and threw a pig into a mosque or the sort. Seriously, more than anything it just reflects immaturity! Man! And even if it is the Hindu Muslim riots which are the cause of these blasts, who can predict whether a Hindu dies or a Muslim!!?

Moral - Terrorists must seriously get a life. Which has nothing to do with terrorism. But then they wouldn't be called terrorists.

Ah heck, who cares.

No, this blog does not have anything to do with 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. I'm not a big fan of the series somehow.

This is my rendition of 'Tell her this' - Del Amitri.

Tell her not to go
I aint holdin' on no more..
Tell her something in my mind,
freezes up from time to time.

Tell her what was wrong
I sometimes think too much but say nothing at all..
Tell her from this high terrain, I am ready now to fall!

I am ready now to fall!

P.S - I know the guy's hands are super thin, but this is the best I could come up with:)

And the Oscar goes to...

Ok, so now I'm relatively jobless and catching up on some TV. And really, I don't know if its me, or has the ad industry really flipped!? And the celebrities in these ads. My God! Some people really have lost their minds!

So here's the list of the 5 most horrendous ads, in my opinion, with the respective celebrities adding to the atrocity!

At no. 5 we have... Aamir Khan! Have you seen the Titan ad? Be yourself, it says. Fine, if I were as rich as Aamir Khan to buy a new watch everyday, depending on my mood, this ad would make total sense. Considering that I'm not that endowed financially, it doesn't. And Aamir is one of my favourite actors. What disappointment! Really, the ad makers here, made some really horrible mistakes.

Moving on, we have... Madhavan and Vidya Balan. I agree, in the beginning the Airtel ads were kinda cute. Ah, I like the chemistry, you thought to yourself. But then, they kept coming. The sweetness was tolerable at first, but then it got icky! And then the Reliance mobile ad came out and made this one look like scum! There, that was no. 4!

Then at no. 3 we have Saif Ali Khan, and Neha Dhupia! The Ponds ad. With the lame I hope you are happy always, and the leave me alone messages and the equally lame choice between whitish glow and pinkish glow! Ugggghhh!

No. 2 goes to......Aishwarya Rai! The Lux ad. Holy mother of God! Khoobsoorti se kya darna! That has got to be the lamest tagline ever! And the ninja antics in the ad makes you want to tear your hair out! Seriously, they do (its either that, or I'm watching way too much TV, for this to have affected me this bad lol!).

Wait for it.

And finally at no. 1 we have.... Priyanka Chopra! There was close competition between Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra, but then, to be in, not one, but two equally horrible ads, certainly deserved some credit! There was a clear winner!! Firstly, there's the Ponds ad. It leaves you speechless. It truly does.
Then, we have the Sunsilk ad. What is it with ad makers and martial arts? I hope God sees this as an indirect plea for help and releases a wave of innovation and creativity, the good kind!

And here are the ones that almost made it.
Katrina Kaif - with Veet.
Dhoni - in Pepsi.

One ad worth mentioning here, which is completely nonsensical but brilliantly awesome at the same time, is the Motorola ad, with Abhishek Bachchan! Haha total entertainment! Apdi podu podu podu!

My roller-coaster

This is one of the most random songs I've heard, and one of the nicest!

You were on my mind atleast nine tenths of yesterday,
Seemed as if perhaps I'd gone insane.
What is it about you that has commandeered my brain,
Maybe its your awesome songs or maybe its the way..
When I look at your face, I can tell that we're not going to be stopping soon or even slowing down..
And if we keep up this pace pretty soon we'll know the names,
of every kid and every grown up, booking house shows in their town.

And if home is, really where the heart is, then we're the smartest kids I know,
because wherever we are in this great big world, we'll never be more than a few hours from home..
And thats important, because I need to travel,
I've got this itching in my shoes since I was just a little kid..
And before I had a mini-van I rode the grey hound bus,
My mom would say, I hope some day, you get paid for being Kimya Dawson!

You were on my mind atleast nine tenths of yesterday,
Seemed as if perhaps I'd gone insane.
What is it about you that has commandeered my brain,
Maybe its your awesome songs or maybe its the way..
You go straight to the top, you're not scared of getting squashed..
You know just when to jump off, you are so brave.
Then you run to the right, it seems like there's no hope in sight,
then you drop down  to the tube that takes you right to level eight!

The song is much longer and I'm super lazy at the moment to type it all out.

Slimy...yet satisfying!

This post goes out to all the worry warts in this world, or atleast the ones who know of this blog!

Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase...
Hakuna Matata, aint no passing craaaaaze!
It means no worries, for the rest of our daaaaays!
Its (y)our problem freeeee, philosophyyy,

HAKUNA MATATA!!

                                Scary hakuna matata.

Ahhh, this one looks much better.

Three cheers for Inox and PVR!

Ok so here is the list of movies I hope to catch in my super-short, super-hectic, super-crammed post-6th sem, pre-7th sem break!

Jaane tu..ya jaane na - watched, thoroughly enjoyed. It is the cutest story ever! And if you're a girl, committed or not, crushed out or not, you will totally, and hopelessly fall head over heels in love with Imran Khan! What a cutie!!!

Jaane tu..ya jaane na - no no, I didnt make a mistake here. I am so watching the movie again!!!

Dark Knight - Heath Ledger R.I.P!

Love Story 2050 - Oh this will give Pecos some good business, it will be the get-high-and-laugh-your-guts-out kinda movie!

Ponds white glow/pinkish glow - This one cant be helped. Its a multiple part advertisement which unfortunately cannot be missed if you do some regular TV viewing(which I've mastered!)and everytime leaves you asking for more.....not!!

Yeah so thats about all the movies I can think of right now. I'm in a bigger pickle which calls for my attention, so adios!
